Pinch me moment! Finally stepping into doing what I am passionate about by opening Fairhope Juice Company has given me more happiness than I can express. The people I get to meet and nourish, the lives shared in conversations in my shop, living in this amazing Coastal paradise. Truly unbelievable!

To have my little juice company be recognized by Mobile Bay Magazine as a company focused on environmentally sustainable practices is the greatest award I have ever received for doing the right thing.

I’m so completely blown away and want to do so much more to help our community gain awareness and take action to protect our precious coastal environment. Thank you, Mobile Bay Magazine, for such an award!

LORIE WARD: BETTER BOTTLES

Fairhope Juice Company

At her store on Scenic 98, every drink comes in a reusable glass bottle. But the recycling doesn’t stop there; even the pulp is reused, making its way to either End of the Road Farm for composting and animal consumption or to a soap company called No Soap.” …

A constant innovator herself, Ward challenges everyone to think beyond recycling. “Recycling isn’t the answer. Sure, we should still recycle, but plastic is plastic, no matter how tiny it’s broken down. Instead of settling for recycling, try to completely avoid plastic bags, straws and bottles. When in doubt, choose reusables!”
